Speaker meeting

Join us for our September speaker meeting, happening in person!

Time: Monday, September 12 at 6:00PM - 7:30PM
The speaker will be Keith Harris, current Interact Chair for District 7930
Keith will visit our club to discuss the Rotary Foundation and other Rotary programs.

About Keith Harris:
Keith was born in Vermont but has lived most of his life in Massachusetts. He has been married to Christina for 29 years now, and they have one adult son who came to them when he was 15.

He joined the Rotary club of Ipswich in 1996 and served as president in 2001. He has held a variety of district positions since 2002, including serving as Assistant Governor, District Foundation Chair, new Generations Chair and his current role as Interact Chair. He also serves as the Interact advisor for his own club at the Ipswich High School. His wife Christina is also a Rotarian and runs the RYLA program for the district. Together they are both sustaining members, Major Donors and members of the Bequest Society of the Rotary Foundation.

In 2014, Keith combined his love of cycling and support of the Rotary Foundation and cycled cross-country. The trip covered 4400 miles over 10 weeks and raised $52,000 for the Rotary Foundation.

He has worked with young people, and continues to do so today as a mentor for Silver Lining Mentoring out of Boston. SLM pairs teens from foster care with caring adults who mentor them as they transition into adulthood.

We'd love to have you join us for the In-Person Meeting at Club Cafe!
We have the option to order off the menu and from the bar and pay individually.
