Demetri Sampas, is the 2023-24 President of Boston #7.
Demetri is CEO of Mal-ID working on Artificial Intelligence in health, and the work he has been doing at Mal-ID applies to detection of Oral Cancer. Mal-ID believes that serious changes are on the horizon for how visually detectable disease states, such as skin and oral cancer, are screened and diagnosed. Oral cancer has become a global crisis, and there is a pressing need for faster screenings. Mal-ID would like to be a part of that change using AI technology.
