The speaker, Demetri Sampas, is CEO of Mal-ID and the President-Elect of Boston #7. He'll be discussing Artificial Intelligence in health, and the work he has been doing at Mal-ID applying that to detection of Oral Cancer. Mal-ID believes that serious changes are on the horizon for how visually detectable disease states, such as skin and oral cancer, are screened and diagnosed. Oral cancer has become a global crisis, and there is a pressing need for faster screenings. Mal-ID would like to be a part of that change using AI technology.
