Did you know that Kyoto and Boston have been sister cities since 1959? Kyoto is also Boston’s first-ever Sister City!

To celebrate the 60th anniversary, the Rotary Clubs of Kyoto South and Boston #7 invite you the international friendship ceremony at which a Japanese Stewartia tree will be planted in the Boston Public Garden. The tree planting will be near the Make Way for Ducklings statues near the corner of Beacon and Charles Street.

Please join us on Saturday, April 27th at 10 AM in the Boston Public Garden.

This is a rain or shine event. For more information, contact: info@bostonrotary.org or 617.426.7133

The celebrations will continue at the Japan Festival happening in the Boston Common on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th. Visit their website at https://www.japanfestivalboston.org/.
